Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist

Meet Madeline “Maddie” DeMartini

Therapeutic bodywork that listens to the body before asking it to change.

Maddie DeMartini is a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist and Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner whose work brings together skilled therapeutic touch, specialized bodywork, and intuitive care.

Her approach begins with the person in front of her.

Rather than bringing every client through the same massage routine, Maddie pays attention to where the body is holding tension, where movement feels restricted, what feels overworked, and where the nervous system may simply need space to settle.

Her sessions may be focused and therapeutic, slow and restorative, or incorporate energetic support — depending on what the individual needs that day.

The goal is not simply relaxation. It is to help the body feel supported enough to release, restore, and reconnect.

Her Approach

No two bodies are the same. No two sessions should be either.

Bodywork That Responds to You

Maddie does not begin with a predetermined sequence.

She begins by listening.

To what you are experiencing.

To where the body feels restricted or overworked.

To how you move and breathe.

To what feels tender, guarded, or ready to release.

And to how your body responds as the session unfolds.

Some days, the body may need focused therapeutic work. Other days, deeper pressure may not be what it needs at all.

Maddie adjusts the pressure, technique, pace, and focus throughout the session — allowing the treatment to respond to the person in front of her.

The treatment is not something done to the body. It is a conversation with it.

Therapeutic Massage

Sometimes the body needs precision. Sometimes it needs space.

Therapeutic Work That Meets the Body Where It Is

Maddie’s foundation in Neuromuscular Therapy gives her a detailed understanding of muscular tension, trigger points, postural strain, restricted movement, and patterns of discomfort that can build over time.

But technique is only part of the treatment.

Depending on what the body presents, a session may draw from neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, Swedish and deep-tissue techniques, active release, stretching, mobility work, and focused therapeutic pressure.

The combination is never predetermined.

Maddie chooses and adjusts techniques according to the client’s needs, comfort, treatment goals, and — most importantly — how the body responds in real time.

Some areas need focused work. Others need room to soften. Knowing the difference is part of the treatment.

Signature Therapeutic Massage is available in 50- and 80-minute sessions.

Specialized Bodywork

Different bodies — and different moments — call for different kinds of support.

Beyond Traditional Massage

As Maddie’s work has evolved, she has continued expanding her training into specialized forms of bodywork that allow her to meet needs that traditional therapeutic massage may not always address.

Lymphatic Massage

Maddie is certified in Lymphatic Massage, a gentle and rhythmic form of bodywork designed to support the natural movement of lymphatic fluid.

Unlike deep-tissue work, lymphatic massage uses light, precise touch and may be chosen when the body needs a gentler, restorative approach.

Traditional Thai Massage

Maddie is also certified in Thai Massage, a movement-based form of bodywork that combines assisted stretching, rhythmic compression, sustained pressure, and mobility work.

Rather than remaining passive throughout the session, the body is gently moved through different positions to create space through the muscles and joints and support greater freedom of movement.

Maddie offers both traditional floor-based Thai Massage and Table Thai Massage, adapting the experience to each client’s mobility, comfort, and needs.

Different techniques. Different intentions. The same commitment to listening to the body in front of her.

Prenatal Massage

Care that adapts as the body changes.

Support Through Every Stage of Pregnancy

Pregnancy changes the way the body carries weight, moves, rests, and responds to physical demand.

Maddie adapts prenatal massage around those changes, using supportive positioning, appropriate pressure, and individualized bodywork to help the client remain comfortable throughout the session.

Treatment may focus on areas carrying greater demand — including the low back, hips, legs, shoulders, and neck — while also creating space for the body to rest and receive.

Every session is adjusted according to the stage of pregnancy, the client's comfort, and what her body needs that day.

Prenatal massage is not simply a modified massage. It is bodywork designed around a body that is continually changing.

Reiki & Signature Soul Massage

When care reaches beyond the physical body.

Where Therapeutic Touch and Energy Work Meet

Maddie is a Certified Usui Reiki Practitioner, and her understanding of energy work has added another dimension to the way she approaches healing and restoration.

For clients who want an experience that intentionally brings these worlds together, Maddie created Signature Soul Massage.

Signature Soul Massage combines personalized therapeutic bodywork with Usui Reiki, allowing the session to move between the physical and energetic according to what the person needs.

The massage itself remains individualized — pressure, technique, pace, and areas of focus are adapted throughout the session — while Reiki creates space for a quieter layer of the experience.

The intention is not simply to work on the body, but to create an experience where the whole person has space to receive.

The Practitioner Behind the Work

She does not only care for others. She continues learning how to care for herself.

Continually Walking Her Own Path

Maddie’s relationship with healing extends beyond the treatment room.

She is deeply committed to understanding her own body, nervous system, emotional well-being, and the practices that help her feel grounded and connected.

Movement, meditation, somatic breathwork, time in nature, and especially time near the water are meaningful parts of her life.

They have also given her a personal understanding of something she sees every day in her work:

The body needs both effort and recovery. Movement and stillness. Strength and softness.

Maddie does not believe a practitioner needs to have everything figured out in order to support another person.

She believes in continuing to learn, continuing to listen, and continuing to walk her own path alongside the people she cares for.

The presence she brings into the treatment room begins with the way she continues showing up for herself.

How Maddie Practices

Present. Attentive. Responsive.

A Space Where You Can Speak Up

Maddie wants clients to feel comfortable being part of the treatment — not simply receiving it.

She checks in. She listens. She adjusts.

Pressure can change. Positioning can change. The focus of the session can change.

If something does not feel right, she wants to know.

If the body needs more support, more space, or a different approach, the session can respond.

Maddie pays attention not only to muscular tension and movement, but also to the quieter signals of the body — changes in breathing, guarding, sensitivity, and the way someone begins to settle as treatment progresses.

You do not have to push through discomfort for the work to be effective.

The goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable communicating what your body needs.
