The Science of Restoration
Your body is constantly producing energy, repairing tissue, responding to physical stress, renewing the skin, and working to bring you back into balance.
Red light therapy supports those natural processes at the cellular level.
Using targeted wavelengths of visible red and near-infrared light, this non-invasive therapy delivers light energy the body can use—helping support cellular energy production, circulation, tissue recovery, physical resilience, and a healthier, more luminous appearance.
At Blue Root Health, the experience is designed for more than a single area of the body. You will sit comfortably inside our HaloSauna while a professional, full-height red and near-infrared light tower illuminates the body in a warm, restorative glow.
There are no needles, no physical manipulation, and no complicated routine. You simply settle in and allow the light to work with the intelligence already within your body.
The Modality
Red light therapy—also known as photobiomodulation—uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate biological activity within the body.
Visible red light is absorbed closer to the surface, where it supports skin vitality, collagen activity, circulation, and a smoother, healthier-looking complexion.
Near-infrared light reaches more deeply into the tissues, making it especially valuable for muscle recovery, joint comfort, physical performance, and whole-body restoration.
Together, these wavelengths create a broader therapeutic experience—supporting the body from the surface of the skin to the deeper structures involved in movement, recovery, and resilience.
Two complementary wavelength ranges. One full-body experience.

Whole-Body Benefits
When light energy is absorbed by the body, it supports the cellular processes behind recovery, circulation, renewal, and resilience. The result is an experience that can serve many different goals—from moving more comfortably to supporting the way your skin looks and feels.
Supports mitochondrial activity and ATP production—the energy cells use to perform, repair, and function efficiently.
Encourages recovery after exercise, physical strain, or demanding periods by supporting circulation and healthy tissue function.
Promotes circulation, relaxation, and tissue recovery to help the body feel less tense, restricted, or overworked.
Supports collagen and elastin activity, smoother-looking texture, more even-looking tone, and a naturally refreshed appearance.
Encourages blood flow and oxygen delivery to the tissues, supporting the body’s ongoing restorative processes.
Creates a deeply restorative pause while supporting the energy, recovery, and physical resilience needed for everyday life.
Whether your focus is recovery, longevity, skin health, performance, or simply feeling more restored in your body, red light therapy offers an effortless way to support the work your body is already designed to do.

The Cellular Response
Within nearly every cell are mitochondria—the structures responsible for producing much of the energy your body uses.
When red and near-infrared wavelengths reach the tissues, light-sensitive components within the cells absorb that energy. This helps support the production of adenosine triphosphate, or ATP—the primary source of usable cellular energy.
With greater energy availability, cells are better equipped to carry out the work they perform every day: maintaining tissue, responding to physical stress, supporting circulation, producing collagen, and restoring balance after exertion.
Red light therapy also encourages nitric oxide activity and healthy blood flow, helping oxygen and nutrients reach the tissues more efficiently.
It is a sophisticated process delivered through an exceptionally simple experience: sit comfortably, breathe, rest, and receive the light.
Full-Body Exposure
Many red light devices are designed to reach only one small area at a time.
At Blue Root, our full-height red and near-infrared light tower is positioned inside the HaloSauna door, allowing the light to reach a much broader area of the body while you remain seated comfortably.
This creates an immersive, whole-body experience without requiring you to continually reposition a small handheld device or treat one isolated area at a time.
The red-light tower can be used as the focus of your experience or incorporated with other features of the HaloSauna when appropriate. Each modality remains intentional, allowing us to create the experience that best reflects your wellness goals.
“Your only job is to step inside, become still, and receive.”
What to Expect
Your session begins inside Blue Root’s private HaloSauna cabin.
Once you are seated comfortably, the red and near-infrared light tower mounted along the door is positioned in front of the body. The room fills with a warm red glow as the light reaches across the skin and deeper tissues.
The treatment is non-invasive and requires no recovery time. You can close your eyes, listen to relaxing audio, breathe, meditate, or simply enjoy a quiet pause from the outside world.
For the greatest light exposure, we recommend allowing the light to reach as much bare skin as you are comfortable exposing. Protective eyewear will be provided when appropriate, and our team will guide you through the experience before your session begins.
You leave ready to continue your day—with the restorative work continuing at the cellular level.
