Full Job Description
Blue Root is looking for an honest, adaptable, competent, long-term collaborator to join our team.
Job Title: Doctor of Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture and Herbalist)
Job duties: Provide a variety of Chinese Medicine services to our patients under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Director. Must be willing to become certified for the other modalities that Blue Root offers.
Treatment will include a number of remedies, such as:
- Herbal medicine
- Cupping
- Moxibustion
- Electrical stimulation
- Injection therapy
- Ozone therapy
- Other cutting-edge services
Requirements: Ideal candidates will possess the following.
- Licensed Acupuncture with at least 5 years of experience.
- Must be trained in both Chinese Medicine and willing to become certified in the Kiiko Matsumoto Method .
- Phenomenal bedside manner (this is a must)
- Laptop for business use
- High level of comfort practicing alone in our office (will work alternating days with other practitioners)
- Willingness to comply with all clinic procedures
- Collaborative, cooperative, and professional mindset
- Up-to-date malpractice insurance
- Willingness to obtain a South Carolina acupuncture license
We’re also looking for someone who is excited to learn new treatment practices, ready to become certified in the cutting-edge therapies that South Carolina supports.
Bonus Points: If you have experience with acupuncture injection therapy or prolozone injection therapy, that’s a definite plus! If not, candidates must be willing to purchase a course and become certified.
