Hannah Cook

Originally from Columbia, SC, I spent most of my life there before moving to Charlotte in 2021. I’ve had the joy of working alongside Dr. Angela Soto since 2011. While in the ADN nursing program at Midlands Tech, I gained a strong foundation in Western medicine. My understanding of Eastern healing has grown through my many years of hands-on experience working closely with Dr. Soto and at Blue Root, where I’ve had the privilege of learning from both patients and practitioners.

What inspires me most is witnessing lives transform—especially when someone comes in unsure of the medicine and then experiences real, tangible change. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a person regain their vitality, whether it’s from something as simple as a head cold or as complex as Lyme disease. Watching someone “come back to life” feels like seeing a flower bloom again.

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time in nature, sharing delicious meals with loved ones, traveling to new places, working out, horseback riding, four wheeling, and dancing.

What makes me unique is my natural ability to connect with people on a deeper level. I can intuitively sense someone’s mood and energy, allowing me to meet them exactly where they are. My empathy and genuine care help patients feel truly seen, heard, and understood—creating a safe, comforting space for healing to unfold.

LOVE this peaceful & professional sanctuary! Dr. Soto & her team are genuinely caring… rare indeed. After trying many other options to address hip pain due to an accident 6 months prior, Dr. Soto’s care was the answer! Furthermore, she has also been instrumental in helping improve my energy. Her knowledge of Eastern medicine, combined with an approach that is caring, personalized, practical and geared towards results- which has made this the best investment in my wellness!
